There are plenty of entertaining things to do at camp, although our guests will tell you they have the best time when they don't have to do anything at all. Below we have listed some of our amenities and the opportunities you can enjoy when staying with us.

Boating

The cottages are located lakeside, lining the North Bay of Great Pond and each unit has its own docking facility. We rent several 14 foot aluminum boats with 6 or 15 HP motors, kayaks, canoes and 50 HP pontoon boats. For those who bring their own boat, we can launch most crafts from our sand beach and our waterfront staff are available to assist you with the task. For the largest crafts, there is a well maintained state launch in Belgrade about ten minutes away. Gas and oil can be purchased here at camp by our guests.

Fishing
Great Pond, the largest lake in the Belgrade Chain, is nine miles long by six miles wide and covers 8239 acres. The deepest point in the lake is approximately 65 feet. It offers excellent fishing for northern pike, small and largemouth bass, brown trout, pickerel, and perch. A twenty minute ride from camp will take you to any of the other lakes in the Belgrade Region: East Pond, North Pond, Long Pond, Salmon Lake and Messalonskee Lake. Although the lakes are all connected, it is not possible to motor from one body of water to the other. Arrangements can be made at camp to transport you, your boat and equipment to any of the other lakes in our area for the day. Also close by is the Kennebec River where one can fish for stripers as well as some small trout streams. Arrangements can be made for full and half day guides in our area as well.
